Headteacher's Welcome

Headteacher's Welcome

At Islamia Girls’ School, we are committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment in which every student feels valued, confident, and motivated to achieve her full potential. It is my privilege to welcome you to a school where Islamic values and academic excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

To support our students’ intellectual, spiritual, and personal development, our curriculum is carefully designed. It combines strong Islamic principles with the highest standards of the National Curriculum.

We are proud of the achievements of our pupils. Our GCSE results last year were very strong, with 100% of all students attaining five or more grades 9–5, and 60% awarded grades 9–7. These outcomes reflect the dedication of our girls, the commitment of our teachers, and the strong partnership we share with parents.

As we look ahead to the coming year, we are excited to be making further improvements to our school environment. These will include enhancements to our library and outdoor spaces, ensuring that our students continue to benefit from facilities that support learning, wellbeing, and enjoyment.

At Islamia Girls’ School, we take great pride in our caring and respectful community.

Education is the key to building peace and understanding between people. Islamia Schools were founded to keep that light alive.
