What does it mean to be one of the first Muslim schools in the UK?
Education was not an equal space for Muslim children before. Above all, we strive to provide the best education in a secure Islamic environment, through the application of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
The education we provide combines the National Curriculum with a holistic approach to teaching and learning. We teach by cultivating spiritual, moral and social development.
Student wellbeing is paramount. Striving for this goes hand in hand with instilling purpose and responsibility. Through the Qur’an and Sunnah (Prophetic example), we inspire mindfulness of Allah and a greater reality than the self. Through Islamic Adab (manners and good behaviour), we encourage self-respect, social awareness, empathy and service. Read Headteacher's Welcome
Children today face many challenges. By inspiring faith and a deeper understanding of our religious traditions we:
We strive to raise bold young men with leadership skills and a commitment to service. Because we believe that leadership is an Amanah grounded in service.
Through curricular and extracurricular activities, our students explore and develop their individual strengths, skills and interests. As they come into their own, they gain confidence and a strong sense of responsibility and drive to cooperate with others.
Our students are encouraged to observe regular prayers and participate in communal worship and activities. In this way, they benefit from community and social unity, fostering a sense of connection, purpose and belonging.
Pupils display positive attitudes and respect for different people, cultural traditions and faiths. British values are effectively promoted and pupils are prepared well for life in modern Britain.
